In December 2017 BORICA AD acquired a license for providing payment services under Art. 4, item 5, of ZPUPS - acceptance of payments with payment instruments. In September 2019 the license enlarged with the new services under Art. 4, items 7 and 8 of the Law on Public Procurement - “initiating payments“ and „providing information on account ”.
As a Payment Institution, BORICA AD is in a role for accepting payments with payment and prepaid cards for primary and secondary spending units. Revenues from card payments in favor of budget spending units are centralized by direct certification of their BNB accounts.
